Site Manager 

Full time Permanent Post - 37 hours per week - Scale B3 

The Governors of St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to recruit an energetic, organised and reliable Site Manager to be responsible for all aspects of building repairs, grounds maintenance, security and health and safety. 

St Augustine’s is a 2 form entry primary school with Nursery provision for 3 to 4 year olds. It is a unique site, set within extensive grounds which include playing fields, three playgrounds, an Early Years facility and a number of outer buildings.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned multi-trades person capable of routine property maintenance and repairs. As a self-monitoring role, the successful applicant will be confident to make decisions, manage time, work with the School Team, prioritise workload and report performance to the Headteacher.

You will be responsible for the provision of reactive and proactive maintenance support to the school and school team, school security and maintaining a safe school environment ensuring that the school has a safe and efficient working environment and infrastructure for its employees, pupils and their activities.

The successful applicant will be flexible in approach, hardworking and caring. 

Excellent communication skills, verbally and in recording information is essential as well as is a friendly and courteous manner to pupils, parents, staff, visitors and contractors.

 

The role of Site Manager is key to the smooth running of our school and essential in our offer of excellence to our families and employees.
