The Season of Lent

Ash Wednesday (17.2.21) is a significant day in the life of the church. It marks the start of the season of Lent and our journey towards Easter.

During this season we take time to reflect upon our lives and to renew our relationship with God. Traditionally we take the opportunity to increase our time in prayer, to either give up something or take up something and to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

Over the coming weeks we will work with the children to help them prepare for Easter, but please find below a Lenten Calendar to use at home. It has something to try for every day of the season should you wish to use it.
