Special learning moments from Autumn 1 & 2…
In R.E, we have been finding out about God’s beautiful world.
In Maths, we have been finding 1 more and 1 less than a number within 10. We have been working practically to compare groups of objects and numbers. We have also been adding to 10.
In English we found out about Floella Benjamin during Black History month and have been writing stories about Paddington in London.
In DT, we have been building bridges and designing photo frames.

In R.E, we have been wondering about Jesus as a child, living in Nazareth.
In English, we have been learning the story ‘There’s a Rang-Tan in my bedroom.’ In areas of provision, we have been role playing the story and creating a home for an orangutan. We planned and wrote our own stories about a chosen animal.
In Maths, we have been learning about numbers within 20. We have been making numbers in different ways.
In Art, we have been rolling paper to make 3D structures.
