W/C 11th March 2018                                                        Issue 17

Many of you will know Mrs Atack who has worked in our Nursery since 2003. She has worked with children who are now bringing their own children to the Nursery but has now decided it is time to hang up her apron and retire full time from Easter to enjoy a very well earned rest. She is looking forward to spending more time with family and friends but will be greatly missed by staff and children.  We wish her a very long and happy retirement.

Mrs Bagnall in year 2 will be going on maternity leave from this Friday, 15th March. Before long we hope to be sending news of the new addition to the family with a lovely new ‘Baby Bagnall’. We all send our best wishes to Mr & Mrs Bagnall, not forgetting Harriet and Paige.

Please remember to send in your pennies and any loose change you have for our class CAFOD boxes. Each class has a CAFOD box and the individual classes are all trying to raise more than the others. There are different things going on in each class to boost the amount raised. We know we can rely in you to be as generous as always.

The Mother’s Day raffle numbers are still on sale at 30p each. The prize is a beautiful hamper for mum to pamper herself.

The West Yorkshire Schools Cross Country Finals took place last week. Aiden came 4th and Obi was 8th. Had the boys been in Year 5 they would have qualified for the National Finals! This was a fantastic achievement. Well done and keep training for next year, who knows what might happen then.

Please remember Parents Evenings this week. Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th March. You can book an appointment online if you have not already done so. If you are unable to do this yourself please come to the office where an appointment will be made for you. It really is important that you attend these meetings
