Mrs. Joyce will be holding Book Sales again next week and will be selling some of the pre loved books we have at school. The sales will be on Tuesday and Thursday next week during the morning play time for children in KS2. We will also be selling the books after school on those days from 3.15 – 3.30 for children of any age if parents want to come in with them. The books will all be 20p each. This is a really good opportunity to build up your book collection at home.
Religious Education
Some of the children will be going to the Cathedral on Friday 19th May to present the Bishop with a cheque for £500 which you so generously helped raise during Lent for the Good Shepherd.

Sport
Next Friday, 26th May, will be ‘Takeover Day’.
The children are asked to come to school dressed in Leeds colours that will be suitable for doing sport all day.
Sam from the Rhinos Foundation who comes in to school every week will be here all day joining in the fun.
Diary Dates/Reminders
Sunday 28th May is the feast day of St. Augustine of Canterbury and we will be celebrating this during our assembly on Friday.
Please remember school closes at the end of the day on Friday 26th May and re opens on Monday 5th June.
