 Sports Day

Our sports day this year will be on Tuesday 26^th June. The children have been told what they need to bring on the day but they will certainly need to bring a bottle of water and hopefully if the weather is good to us they will need sun cream on. A letter was sent home with all the details on it. 

The children in Year 4 will also need to remember to bring their swimming kits as they will be going swimming as normal after they have had their sports day.

 Last week the girls football team played Oakwood. The result was 1 : 1. This Thursday we will be playing in a tournament and we wish them good luck. We know they will do their best and we will keep you informed on their progress.

If you want to share your child’s birthday with their class mates that really is a lovely thing to do but we must ask that you limit this to a small bag of sweets (Haribo perhaps) for each child. We have to be really careful what we hand out to the children as we have some serious allergies in school and anything that has nuts or nut oil in can be extremely dangerous to some of our pupils. It also puts pressure on other children to bring things in to share when  it is their birthday and at times this is not possible for them.

Please remember the Summer Fair at school on Friday 29^th June from 2.30 to 4pm. If you wish to collect your child at 2.30 please go to their cloakroom door otherwise your child will stay in school until the normal time of 3.15. Each year group will be doing their own stall and the teachers will be sending letters out to tell you what the stall is and what you can do to help. We know you will support us in this as you always do.
