Welcome back after the half term, we hope you had a well-deserved rest especially as the weather was so good. To think, this time last year school was actually closed for 3 days because of snow!

Parents Evenings will be Wednesday 13th March from 3.30pm – 6pm and also on Thursday 14th March 5pm – 7.30pm.
The booking system will be open from Friday 1st March for you to make your appointment online. The appointments will be for 10 minutes. It really is important that you attend these meetings not only to see how your child is progressing but also to show your child that you are taking an interest in what they are doing at school.

The Year 4 children took part in a skipping competition this week and the standards were very high, well done to you all.

6th March is Ash Wednesday and the children will be walking to Church for Mass which starts at 9.30am. As always we would love you to join us in Church and you are welcome to walk with us after registration.

We are currently reviewing our school dinner provision and would be interested in your thoughts and opinions.
Leeds Catering currently provide our meals, they ensure that the meals we provide every day meet the Government Food Standards for healthy eating and dietary requirements along with portion size.
We are looking at the menu options available and the food choices we can offer to the children each day.
During Parents Evenings on March 13th and 14th there will be menu information available along with the opportunity to sample the meals provided. There will be information available about claiming free school meals and a brief questionnaire for you to complete.

Please make sure that we have the correct contact details for you. We have recently had a few children needing to be sent home from school due to sickness but we have not always had up to date numbers making it almost impossible to contact anyone. If you child has sickness or diarrhoea please make sure that they have been clear for 48 hours before they return to school.
